Our Local Suppliers
At The Folly, we’re proud to work closely with trusted local suppliers who share our passion for quality and sustainability. By sourcing ingredients from nearby farms and producers, we’re able to serve dishes that are fresh, seasonal, and full of flavour while supporting the local community that supports us. Every ingredient is chosen with care to showcase the best our region has to offer. It’s this commitment to local sourcing that helps keep our menu authentic, vibrant, and ever-evolving with the seasons.
Towcester Mill Brewery

Towcester Mill Brewery moved into the historic Old Mill in 2013 and welcomed the public to its Tap Room the following year. We’re a small, independent, award-winning brewery and Tap Room (brewery pub) with a spacious, scenic beer garden. Nestled in the heart of Towcester, South Northamptonshire, the Old Mill offers beautiful views across the Towcester Watermeadows.
Wharf Distillery

Towcester’s independent, small-batch copper-pot distillery produces a range of distinctive spirits and liqueurs from their base in the historic market town of Towcester, South Northamptonshire. They are one of England’s smallest whisky distilleries, distilling apple brandy from locally sourced apples. Their range also includes carefully crafted single malts, gin, vodka, and rum, all handmade to ensure the highest quality.
Warner's Distillery

Warner’s Distillery, founded by Tom and Tina Warner in 2012, is a husband-and-wife team on a mission to craft exceptional drinks that are kind to the planet. Drawing on their farming roots, they create globally award-winning spirits using botanicals grown on their family farm, Falls Farm, in Harrington, Northamptonshire. Their range—including innovative flavoured gins, apple brandy, and distilled non-alcoholic spirits—is crafted with care, sustainability, and a love for natural ingredients, combining traditional methods with world-first innovations.
Mellow Yellow

Duncan Farrington, raised on Bottom Farm in Hargrave, Northamptonshire, turned his passion for rapeseed oil into Britain’s first ‘seed to bottle’ cold-pressed rapeseed oil, launching Farrington’s Mellow Yellow® in 2005. What began with Duncan and his mother bottling oil by hand and selling locally has grown into a nationwide and international range, now including salad dressings and infused oils developed with his wife, Eli. Today, the team continues to uphold the same dedication to provenance, quality, and craftsmanship in every bottle.
Heygates

Heygates is a family business with roots in Northamptonshire farming since 1562 and milling at Bugbrooke for over a thousand years. Today, the group operates ten flour mills, two bakeries, a feed mill, and over 7,500 acres of farmland across England. Now one of the UK’s largest independent millers, Heygates processes over half a million tonnes of British wheat each year, producing more than 80 grades of flour for bakeries, supermarkets, and food manufacturers. Its fully vegetarian feed mill and extensive farming operations reflect a strong commitment to quality, sustainability, and provenance. Still run by the Heygate family, the company blends traditional values with modern innovation, supplying trusted, high-quality products across the country.
Brewpoint

Brewpoint, a modern brewery and visitor centre in Bedford, opened in 2020 as the new home of Wells & Co. Founded on the legacy of the original Charles Wells Brewery (established in 1876), it marks a fresh chapter for the fifth-generation family business. After selling its former site and beer brands to Marston’s in 2017, Wells & Co built Brewpoint from the ground up—combining a state-of-the-art brewery, head office, and taproom. Today, Brewpoint produces a diverse range of beers for the company’s pubs and symbolises a bold new beginning for this historic brewer.
Craftis

Over 18 years ago, Towcester-based Craftis was founded by Managing Director Suzanne Halpin, who began carrying children’s activity packs and crayons to keep her two daughters entertained while dining out. Seeing a gap for something that engaged children and helped businesses create a welcoming family experience, Suzanne developed the very first Bizzi Bag—and Craftis was born.
